Dumbarton Rock

An easy walk along the river Leven from Alexandria to Dumbarton with the Paisley Ramblers. Good to catch up with folk from Glasgow Ramblers who like me had left it too late to join N on the first stage of The Three Lochs Way.
P who is French was very patient and we conversed on and off in my school French. He then completely flummoxed me by explaining the subjunctive in Spain, I’ve only just got the hang of the past tense. I subsequently looked it up and I think I can do without it.
