Heat?? What heat??!

The whole country’s in
the grip of heat.. and here we
are.. damp and soggy!

There’s something to be said for being in the North Pennines! I’ve been looking at photos from family today and it feels like they’re on a different planet! I also had a text from my mum asking how I’m handling the heat?? Well, I’m struggling by.. highs of 18 with winds, cloud and light drizzle are totally within my wheel house!
Anyway, it’s been nice, it was ‘fresh’ on our morning walk, we went up the fell.. Ben whinged.. Leo barked at some sheep.. we did have to take our jackets off for a few minutes, which was exciting. Made it to the top.. see photo.. Then it was back for a nap, lunch, some baking, some writing of thank you cards and general down time. Ben is a bit wired but we’re mostly keeping on track. Hope everyone else is managing in ‘this heat’!
