Goodbye Pip!

Well, today our pals left for their new life in Copenhagen. A drive down to Newcastle, overnight ferry to Amsterdam, 10 hour drive to Copenhagen. I'm not sure how Pip will cope... but we sure will miss them. And not just for baby sitting Archie...

In the afternoon, JR popped in to town to deposit the used coffee pods in JL. I didn't because I watched the Eastbourne tennis finals instead, where the women's final was much better than the men's, unusually. Archie went out with Elizabeth, back from her holidays, complete with a very sore toe, after a painful accident. Fortunately, she can wear open toed sandals in this weather, while it recovers.

Terrible heat wave predicted everywhere. But not here, thank goodness. It's pleasantly warm.
