Sueno’s Stone

It is our 56th Wedding Anniversary  so I asked For a romantic day out.  We headed to Brodie, their sale is on,  We had lunch there but did not buy any of the bargains . I asked if we could visit Sueno’s Stone as we pass it often but never stop. I have added information in an extra. . It is an amazing stone with carvings all round.
Next we went to the Captain’s Cabin in Findhorn for their delicious ice cream  and after that we had coffee and cake.
We popped in to see our family and got home about 6 pm  we had just sat down in the lounge when an old friend walked into the lounge with her wee dog Winnie.  She is 85 and had driven here to the Showground site down the road with her caravan. A brave lady.   Many years ago I was a Lieutenant in the BB’s in Ayrshire and her husband was the same. We did courses together. So  I have known her a long time . After her husband died about 20 years ago, she decided she would carry on caravaning every summer.
