2025 Wednesday — July 4th Ready!

We had been to the UkeLadies rehearsal at the our church church in Morro Bay and on our way there we could see from across the highway that Bob & Elaine had their Cayucos place decorated with flags for the upcoming holiday. So on our way home, we turned off the highway to drive the frontage street to see their place up close.

Bob & Elaine’s place is an old “motor hotel” built in the early 1950s and not converted into a permanent residence. They have a great big outdoor courtyard which is great for large gatherings for barbecues and potlucks.

This little town of Cayucos gets all dressed-up for America’s birthday. This is a town with residents and with lots of visitors that are delighted to be American.
