Silly Saturday ...

... silly goslings all in a row.

We thought it was supposed to rain this afternoon so we didn't think we would be able to walk today.  But they changed the forecast pushing the rain back to later this evening. 

That said ... we drove to the St. Luke's walking trail after lunch as there is a Staples close by and I had an Amazon return to take there.  There is a lovely little pond at this walking trail ... the trail circles it nicely.  And there are often lots of different birds to be seen here. 

Today was no different.  Not only did we see this cute little Canada goose family but we also saw purple martins, killdeer, northern mockingbirds, and red-wing blackbirds ... just to name a few.  We had a lovely walk before returning home.
