Showy lady slippers

When I got up this morning the forecast had changed, again. It was showing rain for all day and the radar was showing rain moving in around 10 am. We did have some showers that started around 10:30 am and lasted for about a half hour. Because of the forecast I changed my plans of going to the valley.
I had gotten some directions on how to find the showy lady slippers that are blooming in Smiley's Park right now. It's only a 45 minute drive, so I knew I could get there before the rain started. I had seen them one time several years ago, the park had a tour to take people in to see them.
This afternoon I spent some time catching up on paperwork and getting a couple of quotes ready.
Right now I have my evenings free this coming week, maybe I can catch up on all the quotes, plus get some of my own gardening done.
