Our Saturday

Third Street Books in McMinnville hosts a local authors’ book sale and signing every Saturday during the summer. I was the local author today. McMinnville does a cool thing by closing off Third Street, the main downtown street, so people can dine alfresco, and can roam the streets. It’s called Macfresco. I peddled a few books, and caught up with former students and colleagues from McMinnville High School. A warm, but pleasant afternoon on Third Street. After, we had maybe the best Mexican food I have ever eaten at Aubela’s Nuestra Cocina (Our Grandmothers’ Kitchen). I had enchilada suizas, but will be back for their chili relleno. So good.
