Kenilworth

Most of the day was spent driving in traffic as we were heading north to stay with friends in Kenilworth, ahead of a visit to R’s relatives tomorrow. The journey took 5 hours because of the queues on the M25, so it was a relief to arrive and look out over the town from our bedroom for the next two nights.
C&F cooked us a lovely meal and we enjoyed a few bottles of wine while catching up with news. Went to bed very tired
