Backblip - A Trip to Tynemouth Aquarium

This was such a busy (but lovely) day that I ran out of time to upload my blip, so here's a backblip.

In the morning the family all went to the beach at Tynemouth while my Editor and I did a big supermarket shop to have enough food to feed the hordes! After that we met them at Tynemouth for a fish-and-chips lunch, then as the weather was turning cloudy and damp we decided to go to the aquarium. Naturally lots of photos were taken and I've not been through them all properly, but here's a selection. The main blip is an Undulate Ray which kindly lifted up its "head" for me to get this rather scary photo! The first extra shows a collection of anemones which looked rather good in a blue-lit tank. Then we were able to see the feeding of the seals at 3pm, hence the second extra.

Altogether a lovely time was had by all.
