Beach club

We wandered along to the beach club after breakfast.  First ones there and business seems a bit slow?  I do hope they don’t overdevelop the place - although very different to our first visit probably 18 years ago.

I was feeling sad and nostalgic today.  Aimee loved this place and we had a number of girls holidays here.  She loved the sea and the sun and I miss her so much.  I swam out to the pontoon and had a chat with her as I swam.  

I messaged my sisters on our Turkey Girls WhatsApp - both said the right thing and then I went back to my book and read the following line: ‘there was never enough time with the people that mattered’….. so true.

The book is The Women - Kirsten Hannah - not a literary great but interesting story and my current genre - books/films about the Vietnam War.
