Ramblings and Mutterings

Sting

A nice lie in this morning.

But no rest for the wicked today, as I had another gig to attend.

I had to sort some travel arrangements out for the next couple of weeks first. It is going to be a busy time.

I then headed down to Cardiff in plenty of time, or so I thought. The first car park was chaos though, it took me 30 minutes to get out of there. I thought I was going to be out of lock again, but my reserve car park had plenty of spaces, so I was ok.

I had time on my hands so headed into Cardiff to have a look around. I ended up in a book shop and came out with some books. I do not know how this keeps happening.

And then to the gig. Sting wasn't on until about 9pm so I had plenty of time. There were two support acts, first up was Sophie Grey described as electro-pop artist not my cup of tea, and then a band from Wigan called the Lilacs who were pretty good.

And then to the main act of Sting and he came out swinging with quite a few of his famous tunes from his solo career and the Police. He was excellent! A different experience from the sound mess at Wembley. I really enjoyed the gig.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A lie in
2.  An excellent Sting gig and another bucket list tick
