Italian Style Garden

Part of the Tapeley Park Gardens, near Instow. Three of us went there this morning. It is a good while since I have visited, but the gardens are still looking beautiful. We did the woodland trail first, going down hill to the lake. Did have a horse fly land on me, but felt it and brushed it off before it did any damage. After walking back up headed for the tea room for coffee and cake. We sat outside on the lawn which was lovely. 

To quote their brochure, since the 1990's it is one of a few public gardens that have a chemical free policy for weed and pest control. We continued our circuit and finished up back at the tea room for a light lunch and back to the car after visiting the estate history room, and the giftshop. A most enjoyable morning.
