Burns on fire...
A slight exaggeration perhaps, but Surrey skipper Rory Burns hit a very attractive 55 runs before feathering one through to the wicket keeper. This shot is of him steering the ball to third man for four runs to bring up his half century.
It was a stupidly hot day at the Oval for the first day of this match against Durham and I only stuck around until lunchtime as I'll be back for more tomorrow.
The extra is of England and Durham quick bowler Matthew Potts receiving medical attention having crashed into the advertising boards while saving two runs. He left the field with the physio, but fortunately doesn't seem to have done himself any serious harm
