The Rubicon has been crossed

I built the wooden steps for our summer house over thirty years ago. They finally rotted and collapsed a few weeks ago.

I calculated the time, cost and inconvenience of rebuilding them myself and decided to “get a man in”

The man plus son came with all the timber, did the job in two and a half hours and cleared away the wreckage all at a reasonable price.

Rubicon well and truly crossed!
