Pelicans at the park

Pelicans were introduced to St. James's Park in 1664 and since then around 40 of these birds have, at various times, lived there. They can be elusive and more often than not you see them, at a distance, perched on their rocks on the lake. There are six at St. James's at the moment, as you can see in the extras, and this evening they put on a show.
