A pleasant stroll up a good land-rover track with cattle avoidance at times as fed close to the road. Priority not to split calf and mother, all successfully done by detouring into bogs.
Stopped at war memorial to the dakota plane that crashed into the hill in 1945.
Bothy reached and did not disturb the residents. A steep climb with increasing heat. Midges out so rest only at breeze exposed points.
A lonely summit with a toppled trig point.
A quick descenrvstopping for a chat with bothy residents now ascending, great young people.
March out avoiding cattle.
Lunch and shower.
A dog walk with eco mum along wooded coast, tge dogs found the shore. We sat and watched an otter.
