Whilst I was sitting there Merlin identified fifteen birds in 2 minutes. I was surprised but I think it would be accurate as I could see several of them in the trees and the others are ones I know are around. I was a bit dubious about ‘Curlew’ but when Gordon came out he said yes, he had heard them from his room.
