The big tree

This is the big tree that, if it took it upon itself to fall down in the general direction of our house, could do some major harm. More likely is that it will shed a couple of its lower branches onto our shed!

Not a very outdoors day, owing partly to the heat, and also to a friend driving down for a late, long, lunch. Very nice to catch up on news.

I am now topping up the pond and will definitely not forget to turn the hose off…
