Lyme Regis
Lovely seaside-y day out with my Mum today. We drove to Lyme Regis, and, after a bit of a stress driving through some very narrow streets in her big Motability van, found the perfect parking spot down by the harbour, and had a lovely leisurely amble along the whole seafront. The weather was absolutely perfect - warm and sunny, with a lovely warm sea breeze. A good few degrees cooler than Wells, and many other places today.
Stopped off at the Kiosk (with the orange parasols in this photo) on the way back along the front and bought some seriously tasty toasties for a late lunch. We were warned to watch out for the seagulls, so we walked all the way along the Cobb to eat them (away from the crowds and most of the gulls). Actually, Mum was still a bit scared to risk it, so ate hers back in the car.
We stopped at a picnic spot on the way home, and bought ice creams, which we also ate in the car. Then had a nice chilled out evening back at Mum's :)
