Unknown Moth

It flew like a butterfly, looks like a butterfly and poses like a butterfly but its antennae tell me it is definitely a moth.

Google Lens, (apart from suggesting a small blue butterfly!) thinks it is a drab looper moth.  The ony trouble with that is that it would be way out of its range and there are zero previous records of it in Fife.

Another suggestion was a forester moth but it didn't have thick antennae, nor did it pose or fly like a burnet moth.

I'm hoping moth groups will enlighten me.
