Brolly Go Round

A trip to Street today for a spot of outlet shopping at Clarks Village, and a welcome blip surprise to find ourselves visiting Brolly Wood!

To celebrate their "20th Anniversary and the great British Summertime", there was a festival of bright umbrella sculptures dotted around the centre. Fortunately, today there was more of a need for a sun parasol than an umbrella!

This sculpture was called Brolly Go Round: "Kinetic sculpture of colourful umbrellas that are propelled by the wind, moving and swirling round in the summer breeze to create a windmill of colour."
