One sunbeam through the rain

Another wet, cool day - and the weather reports on the TV keep on about a heatwave over the country. In fairness, Glastonbury, all the South and East of England seem to be basking in heat and sunshine, the rain just seems to be centred over Cumbria ... at least it keeps the lakes topped up!

Early evening, I spotted this solitary sunbeam cutting through the rain - offering a little hope (false hope) that it was going to brighten. Looked quite impressive through the gloom.
