Birthday Treat

T’was my sisters birthday and her daughter-in-law arranged for a wee trip along the Union Canal for the family. She, my nephew’s wife, volunteers for the charity that runs the canal boats and it was a glorious day to spend 3 hours puttering about 6/7kms from Ratho to the Almondell Aqueduct and back, the boat was controlled by other volunteers so we could just sit back and enjoy the trip, with prosecco and beer (non alcoholic if required) there even was a crocodile (extra).
