MY NEW TOY!

Having just spent over an hour holding on to speak to someone at the DVLA, whilst waiting I have dusted the lounge, watered plants, moved some books, sorted out filing, found my driving licence, which was missing - and eventually found in with my passport, and sharpened some of my colouring pencils.

I now await the letter and forms from the DVLA so that the medical investigations can take place and in the meantime, I am able to drive.

This is a marvellous little machine - an electric pencil sharpener - and have you ever seen sharper points on colouring pencils?  

It is so hot today - good job that Mr. HCB was out in the garden just after 6.30 again - he is now sitting in the shade under the carport, reading a book and having a well-earned rest.  Think I might just sit out there with him and do some colouring.
