Australia Zoo.

Mia loves giraffes and she finally got to see some real-life ones.

Alexandra and her friend took the girls to Australia Zoo.

The weather was a bit iffy but they managed to miss most of the rain.

I know a lot of people don't agree with zoos, but it is nice for children to see animals like elephants, rhinos and hippos, and to realize how big they really are.  And Australia Zoo has plenty of space for all these animals to wander around in.

The girls had a wonderful time and as a bonus they even got to see the Irwin family too.

They all came home very tired but happy.
