Shape and Form

Just two images taken on this morning’s village walk, both are very different.

My preference is to take images that tell a story, I treat photography as a story telling medium.  But recently I have been challenged by fellow photographers in another forum who dwell more upon capturing shape and form.  So this image is a result arising from that discussion.

The image contains vertical and horizontal lines, misalignment of the two windows - you normally find windows in alignment and almost never see a windowsill at ground level on the footpath.

The other image I took certainly tells a story, but it would be less pleasing to look at and I am not including it here - perhaps on other day!
