Chateau De L’Islette

Not far from our last chateau visit. We chose this as it offered plenty of shade in the grounds which run alongside the River L’Indre.

They had a small shop where at a reasonable price you could buy yourself picnic items. Placed into a small wicker basket for you to carry to your chosen spot. Plenty of tables and chairs set up into shady places.

Back at the gite by early afternoon and out for drinks and nibbles this evening at the owners gite.
