Sunlight on the tree

It’s been the hottest day for us on this trip. Up to 29C. We visited Padley Gorge in the morning wandering amongst the trees and looking down on the river. It was still fairly hot though and very bright so not the best for photography.

Our next stop was Longshaw Country Park where we had our lunch in a shady spot where this shot was taken and then walked around the garden and grounds. Some people had taken advantage of the deckchairs put out in shady areas. They were all occupied though. As it was so hot we headed back to our accommodation to relax. Such a hot day.
