A hope portal

I am somewhat reluctantly dragging my mind and body into the world of podcasts, substacks, and Zoom workspace. Sue and I have now joined a seven-week discussion group of 13 people trying to cope with the feelings of rage, despair, resistance, and (occasionally) hope that accompany the hideous actions of the current US administration.

Krista Tippett is posting a series of discussions with interesting people, exploring the meaning of hope in the current context, and she suggests discussion groups to go with journalling exercises. Our group has decided to meet five times on Zoom and twice in person. Sunday was the first in-person meeting, and I sat in the shade of TerriG’s and LaurieT’s pear tree and made a few photos of the discussion.
