All White

There are so many white butterflies around at the moment, including this large white in my garden this morning. Another very hot and sunny day - Weybourne weather station at the coast reached 27C, but my external thermometer was reading over 30C. I did some dead heading in the garden first thing, then sat out for a while before the sun came round to the back. Then I've stayed inside since 11:30 as way too hot for me. I've enjoyed watching the first day of Wimbledon, particularly Sonnay Kartal winning her match with Ostapenko (20th seed and great grass court player) over 3 sets - so nice to see so many young British players breaking through. I missed most of Arthur Fery's win over Popyrin (20th seed). The celebrations of Oliver Tarvet when he won his first match at Wimbledon were as if he'd won the whole tournament! I've also been ripping a number of new CDs to my laptop and updating the music on my USB stick in the car. Now time to go and water the garden!
