Off to the Burrell

A day out, with lovely weather and good company.
A and I used to enjoy going to The Burrell in the past,but hadn't visited it since its major refurbishment. Its now been open again for over 2 years.  The main changes have been made to the interior layout with its new staircase, performance space and more galleries. It was always a beautiful building, but has certainly been further enhanced. Everyone enjoyed the exhibits and a tasty lunch.
In the afternoon we  walked through The Pollok Estate, which is beautiful. I particularly enjoyed a walk up the grand Lime Avenue.
We travelled there and back pretty easily by public transport.
