A scorcher day to end June with temperature just over 30 C and very humid.

After a quick shop in Cwmbran (South Wales, UK) we collected granddaughter Amelia from school as we have her overnight. Very few of her friends went to the park, probably because it was too hot! The photo' is of her climbing over the gate. We got her an ice cream to eat in the car on the way home.

As soon as we got home, she wanted to walk to the local St Giles Church, Goodrich (Herefordshire) to play hide and seek. I've spent some time under the altar and behind tyhe organ over the years!  The extra is of her and Mrs BB on the remains of the medieval cross outside the church.

She's had us on the go getting food and drinks this evening and playing snap - again!  Very enjoyable and a good laugh but I do wish I had her energy!
