Special Award

I baked a batch of lemon cakes and did some cleaning in the morning.
Our neighbour dropped in for coffee. It’s a year today since his wife died and he was feeling a bit out of sorts.
Toms sister and husband arrived mid afternoon. I’d already made a bolognaise which was simmering away in the slow cooker.
Will and Meg joined us for dinner. They’d been to the cinema.
Meg got an email from her University informing her that she’d won an award for her contribution to the course in Dumfries and Galloway. Well done Meg.
