Dunes

After a hearty hotel breakfast (the fullest of, erm, Englishes) it was off to Druridge Bay for the morning to sit on the beach and go in the sea a couple of times. 

The afternoon was spent wandering (really quite slowly, it was bloody roasting) around the grounds and gardens of Cragside near Rothbury, before heading back to Edinburgh.

A great little trip away - just the one night, but two full days of 'stuff'. To be repeated!
