A fly away kind of hair day ! Warm, muggy and wet . Only about 21 degrees which is positively perfect compared to the 34 degrees in Blighty. The sweet corn plants in the poly tunnel are thriving on it seemingly . Look forward to those when they’re ready ….dripping in butter :0)
Mike making a good recovery and it’s only coughing and sneezing that are causing rib pain now. He’s a tough old bird .
Lots of cooking , Monday is always soup for the week . It’s’ use everything up before the next load of veg is delivered from the farm ‘ soup. Today was onions, celery, garlic, ginger (not farm) chilli, chard, carrots, squash, lettuce and turnip .magic ingredient is home made chicken stock . If it gets hot we’ll chill it !
