Mountstewart

Mountstewart is a National Trust property on the Ards Peninsula, near Newtownards. The BBC were there earlier this year for the Springwatch programme. Mountstewart has red squirrels, we were really lucky this morning to see 2 of them!! Apparently there had been 4 according to the young lady and her daughter who were in the hide when we got there, but we considered ourselves lucky to see 2. We've only ever seen 1 before, and we usually see 0. They are beautiful little creatures - but very fast!
