Swarm

It’s been a busy day. Up early with our grandson. And for a birthday lunch for our daughter. Lots of play and water spraying (with our grandson) and then child minding as his parents were out at a concert (Lucy Dacus at the Usher Hall).

When out with him in the buggy this morning I heard a loud buzzing and saw a swarm of bees in a tree. I did not linger! I’ve heard about swarms but never seen one before. The buzzing was very loud.

Otherwise a warm close day but not oppressively hot as down south as mainly cloud cover here. And lots of chocolate cake!
