Recent Project

I want to come up with some new recess activities and thought I'd try making another kubb set. The only problem was the game is really supposed to be made out of wood, but I could foresee all sort of problems arising from kids tossing the wooden blocks and batons around. I came up with this idea of using thick dowels encased by pool noodles. I'm optimistic about the results. It won't be terribly sturdy, but perhaps it will be a bit more friendly for younger kids.
