Home Again, Home Again
I helped Dick at his house for a while this morning - we dumped the camping gear when we arrived home and it merited some tidying up. I headed home to Portland arriving just after midday. It's HOT here in Portland today - a high of 95F/35C, although it's going to be cooler tomorrow, and even better on Wednesday thank goodness. Struggling with the heat when I have to teach class, partially outside, is difficult at best.
I'd forgotten that I had a chiropractic appointment this afternoon - I probably thought that sleeping in a tent might merit one. So I did that and then had a pedicure. There wasn't much left to the last one after a weekend in the woods!
I got out my Moment Macro lens and took a couple of shots outside in the courtyard. The main is a Venus Fly Trap flower, which is about a 1/4" in diameter (if that). If you look closely you'll see some insects that are very close to being dinner. The extra is a Fuchsia blossom just after I watered it.
