So green...

It's been raining a lot here. Summer is the rainy season for SW Florida, but after hardly any rain for so long, this rain feels very wet! The positive aspect is everything is growing and our yard is lush and green. After an evening walk, when our front yard came into view, I took this photo. 

Today, the furniture from Mom's previous memory care was brought to the new one. The new room will be much more comfortable than the rehab she's in now, which is like a hospital room. Here she'll also get more nursing and a staff that's had extensive training on Alzheimer's. I am feeling positive about her move and hoping she has a smooth transition. Tomorrow, another trip via transport to x-ray her wrist and check the cast. It has been a bit busy and stressful, but I do believe things will be smoother and better for mom, once she settles into her new place. :⁰)
