Hot

Yesterday was the hottest June day since records began in this country with official figures saying 33.1°C at Heathrow airport (my thermometer showed 36!).  It has been the same scenario on the Continent with temps in Southern Spain and Portugal recording 45°C, l don't think humans are meant to live in these kind of temperatures.  It was a day of a doing very little (today will be similar), out doing any chores in the morning, inside with ceiling fan whirring in the afternoon, a cooler stroll after 9 in the evening.
My photo for today is some Marguerite daisies l picked from the allotment, l liked the way the setting sun was touching the petals; sunset is around 9:30pm at the moment.
Well, today is meant to be the last hot day for this second heat wave with tomorrow being about 10° lower, keep safe and cool all you Northern hemisphere folk - and warm in the South.
