Down by the river Nadder. A glass of beer in the garden of the Old Mill Hotel, then a stroll along the town path to see what J. Constable saw for his painting. Plenty of people cooling off in the river, herons and Egrets in the water meadows, then stroll back at 9.30 pm to open up a cold bottle of English rose wine from Surrey, celebrating their record day at the Oval.
