Gatekeeper Butterfly

Managed a walk today in the cooler (20C) air at 07:30..it still seemed quite humid though. The house thermostat registered 26.5C when I got up at 6 a.m. - so it hadn’t cooled down much overnight!

There were brief spells of sunshine while I was out and I was fortunate to find this butterfly which obligingly opened its wings as the sun shone.

5.42 miles walked today which brings my total for the year to 700.37.. 500 miles (cue Proclaimers ear worm) to go, five months left to complete the challenge :-)

I submitted our energy meter readings today for the monthly bill…and the gas standing charge part was actually more than the cost of gas used!!
