Baking Again

Another very hot day, even more so than yesterday. Made the best of it by making some bread rolls: the basic cheddar and tomato mix with added rosemary, garlic and thyme. After they’d risen, brushed them with flavoured rapeseed oil before baking, which gives a nice soft crust. Shall have one for lunch with a bit of ham and cheese, then veg out for the afternoon.
