Sunday..

Stoke Park, Guildford.

Today’s plan was to meet the kids to celebrate Josh’s birthday earlier in the week and a couple of them had not seen Mr C for father’s day.  As Bex (and soon to be Sim) live about an hour and a half from Josh, I suggested meeting at this park so it was roughly half way for each.  Originally we were going to do a picnic but as the forecast was to be very hot, we gave that bit a miss (there was a cafe where we grabbed drinks and sausage baps).

A lovely little park with an inviting paddling pool. Unfortunately, it was closed as was the mini golf but one I could have visited with the boys had I’d known about it and not discovered just as they are about to move away.

A nice couple of hours with them and we were back home early afternoon (and no mention of Ruby xx).
