Pancake day

That’s what this young squirrel is doing , lying as flat as a pancake to get some relief from the heat. There are a couple of accessible dishes of clean water in the garden, but they don’t seem to have seen them yet.
It’s forecast to be much cooler tomorrow, which is good news for everything wearing a fur coat in this 30°C heat.
