I went to the American Museum with my friend Chris today. I used my membership ticket, which is set to me + 1, and she drove & bought lunch. Chris hasn't been there for many years but wanted to see if it was a place that her American daughter-in-law T might enjoy. The museum's narrative is being changed from the story of the settlers to include more about the indigenous peoples & slavery. As T is of African American descent, Chris has decided to wait until next year when the history will be more inclusive.
We had a good wander around the grounds and enjoyed the views across the valley. We might also have gone down the slide in the children's play area at some point during the day...
