Street Life

When we went shopping last night I forgot vanilla extract. So this afternoon I walked to the Tesco Express in town to get some. I also wanted to get a Blip so I lurked outside the store and took photos of anyone interesting who walked past the trendy clothes shop opposite.

It's been overcast for most of today, but still incredibly hot.

I can see evidence of five horsefly bites on my legs, just little red dots. Brian is now on antibiotics for his. They obviously see my blood as the horsefly equivalent of alcohol free beer, and Brian's as full strength Stella! You should see the state of his legs!

Last time we encountered horse flies, a couple of years ago, I had the worst of it. On that occasion it was my fault for letting the horsefly bite long enough for me to get a photo of it!
