The most recent addition to the herd

A lovely wee calf trying to keep cool among the long grass and buttercups. It's not old enough yet to approach the fence where the tourists and regular visitors gather with phones ready for the day's photo shoot.

My visit today was very brief as I was having lunch with my former patchwork buddies down at Braehead ..... not my favourite place but it's easily accessed by us all.

Off to the Fife seaside tomorrow and fortunately the weather looks to be a few degrees cooler ..... just hope it doesn't get cold enough for gloves!
